Jeff Leeson: September 20, 2024
For over 23 years Jeff Leeson has been astonishing crowds across North America with his off the cuff, improvisational style that leaves crowds not only wanting more, but amazed at what they just witnessed. Combining traditional stand up comedy with long form improv Jeff creates a unique and personal experience for the audience each and every show. Jeff’s comedy has been featured on Sirius XM, Spotify, i-Tunes, 2 Comedy specials on Amazon Prime, a Dry Bar Comedy Special and a Special On Youtube entitled “Sorry I’m Not Kevin Hart”
Tick, Tick… Boom!: October 4-6, 2024
Before Rent, there was Tick, Tick… Boom!. This autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, is the story of a composer and the sacrifices that he made to achieve his big break in theatre. Tick, Tick… Boom! takes you on the playwright/composer’s journey that led to a Broadway blockbuster.
Garth Brooks Tribute: November 2, 2024
Adam Lee captures the full essence of Garth- the energy, the storytelling, and of course, the music! From the stomp your boots/sing-along songs to the most soul-touching ballads, they ensure the crowd has as much fun as they do!
The Littlest Christmas Tree: December 7-8, 2024
Presented by JPAC Kids! That special day at the North Pole Christmas Tree lot has arrived when Santa will be stopping by to pick out his very own tree. Who will be Santa’s tree this year? This holiday musical is sweet and heartwarming, teaching a positive lesson about love and acceptance. Performers in grades K-3.
Annie Jr.: December 13-15, 2024
Presented by JPAC Kids! Featuring everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure! Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Performers in grades 4-12.
Dueling Pianos: January 10, 2025
Piano Fondue is the premiere Dueling Pianos group in the Midwest for the ultimate rock and roll, sing-along experience!
All night long, you, the audience, get to choose every song we play on our beautiful baby grand pianos. Sing, clap, dance, and laugh along with two of our talented and energetic entertainers.
Godspell: January 24- February 2, 2025
Led by the international hit, “Day by Day,” Godspell features a parade of beloved songs, including “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” “Learn Your Lessons Well,” “All for the Best,” “All Good Gifts,” “Turn Back, O Man” and “By My Side.” Boasting a score with chart-topping songs, a book by a visionary playwright (John-Michael Tebelak) and a feature film, Godspell is a sensation that continues to touch audiences. Harriet the Spy!: February 21-23, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! Harriet M. Welsch is a spy. In her notebook, she writes down everything she knows about everyone, even her classmates and her best friends. Then Harriet loses track of her notebook, and it ends up in the wrong hands. Before she can stop them, her friends have read the always truthful, sometimes awful things she’s written about each of them. Will Harriet find a way to put her life and her friendships back together? Youth ages TBD.
Second Hand News: March 14, 2024
Second Hand News recreates the experience of seeing Fleetwood Mac in their heyday. Made up of veteran Chicago musicians, the band features spot-on vocal harmonies, careful attention to detail, and electric live shows!
Bugz: April 19-20, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! There’s going to be a picnic and everyone is pitchin’ in…the Lady Bugs are in charge of proper etiquette, the Army Ants will handle security, the Fireflies are in charge of lighting, and entertainment will be provided by the Bumble Bees. Looks like everything is set! But what’s this!?! The Stink Bug wants to come too! Buzz on over to the country-style hoedown and help the critters rescue the party! Performers ages K-3.
Seussical Jr.: April 25-27, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical Jr.! Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! Performers ages 4-8.
Oceans of Fun: June 20-21, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! This delightful musical revue consists of eight songs and a fun rhyming script that K-3rd grade students will learn in a one-week summer camp! With fun numbers like “All About Sharks,” “Arm in Arm with an Octopus,” and “Here Come the Lobsters,” we know the audiences will have as much fun seeing the show as the kids will have performing it! Performers ages K-3.
A Barnyard Moosical: June 27-28, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! In this hilarious and imaginative mini-musical, we meet a unique and talented group of animals living at this unusual farm. Between the gourmet goats that refuse to eat garbage, a chorus line of hoofing cows, neatnik pigs and funky dancing chickens, the musical will be sure to tickle the imagination and funny bone of performers and audiences alike. Performers ages K-3.
Macbeth: July 17-20, 2025
The Janesville Performing Arts Center is proud to produce our annual Outdoor Shakespeare production: Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Macbeth receives a prophecy that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition, Macbeth murders the King and soon becomes a tyrannical ruler. Adult Performers.
MYSTERY JPAC Kids Show! July 31- August 3, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! This mystery title will be revealed on December 13th!

Freaky Friday:August 14-17, 2025
Presented by JPAC Kids! The new musical, Freaky Friday, based on the beloved 1972 novel features an overworked mother and her teenage daughter who magically swap bodies. Now, they have just one day to put things right again. Freaky Friday is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter. Performers ages 9-12.
