The Janesville Performing Arts Center is proud to announce that JPAC’s Education /Outreach department will proudly presents Disney’s Aladdin Jr. as part of the 2017 Summer Camp Workshop Session. Auditions will be held on April 26 and 27 from 5-7pm at JPAC which is located at 408 S. Main St. This 4 week collaborative class (July 17-August 11) meets M-F from 9:00 am – noon. The program is open to any student’s ages 8-18 years old and culminates in the presentation of 3 performances of a dazzling Broadway-style musical in the JPAC Auditorium. Performance dates are August 11-13 and tuition is $55 per student.
Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin JR. is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure.
When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
