JPAC’s Youth Choir Spring 2017
JPAC’s Youth Choirs are open to young singers in grades 3-12 who love to sing and perform. We will also sharpen our vocal skills by learning and singing both traditional youth choral numbers as well as modern, upbeat songs. Singers will perform for friends, family, and community in the Music and Drama festival held on the historic JPAC stage. Any singer who completes a vocal placement and registration will be accepted into the choir. All experience levels and musical abilities are welcome. Regular attendance is required.
Youth Choir vocal placements and registration will be held February 6th from 5-7pm at JPAC. All singers who wish to participate in the youth choirs must prepare a song 30 seconds to 1 minute in length, sung acapella (without accompaniment) for a vocal placement. Singers should plan on attending only one of the placement dates. They can come any time during the time frame and do not need to stay the entire session. A parent or legal guardian must accompany singers to receive information and complete registration.
Participation Fee: (paid at time of registration): $35 per singer
Choral Directors: Carleen Courtney & Alexia Klein
