The Janesville Performing Arts Center is thrilled to announce that the internationally acclaimed band, “Lonestar”, will perform as the headliner for JPAC’s annual gala concert. For more than 20 years “Lonestar” has logged countless miles touring the world. They have released several Platinum-selling albums and nine No 1. Singles on the Hot Country Songs chart. Their song “Amazed” charted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first county song to do so since 1983. “Amazed” and “My Front Porch Looking In” were the top country songs of 1999 and 2003, respectively, on Billboard Year-End.
JPAC’s Executive Director, Nathan Burkart stated “After bringing recording artist Leann Rimes in last year, JPAC knew it needed another homerun artist. The center is super excited to host Lonestar because they have produced incredible songs that make them such a high caliber band. Having groups like Lonestar perform at JPAC is an amazing opportunity for the community and is one of the many reasons why JPAC is an important asset to the arts and entertainment community in Rock County.”
The event’s presenting sponsor will be “Bodacious Shops of Block 42”. Block 42’s owners, Quint and Rishy Studer are thrilled to help bring “Lonestar” to JPAC. “Arts and entertainment are an important fabric in very great community. We are grateful to help support JPAC and the vital role they fill in the area” – Rishy Studer.
